Would you like to get a GREAT SLEEP EVERY NIGHT?
Hypnotherapy can help!
Using Hypnotherapy you can establish new sleep patterns by quieting your mind, eliminating restless legs and reducing the effects of stressors so that sleep comes more easily. Hypnotherapy can help you have a deep, restorative sleep that leaves you refreshed, clear and focused the next day.
Hypnotherapy can also be used to uncover any reasons that sleep may have been difficult . Your Subconscious mind is primarily protective, and also illogical. What this means is that if, due to past experiences or beliefs picked up over the course of your life, your Subconscious has decided that sleep is threatening or low priority it can sometimes cause sleeplessness. Being illogical, the Subconscious doesn't understand the diference between past, present or future. This means that, on a subconscious level, we can still be responding to past beliefs or experiences as though they were still current.
Some of the issues we have worked with at Campbell Wellness consulting include:
- A man who, as a boy, was told his dog was "put to sleep" linked sleep with death. Years later, even though her "knew better" as an adult, the subconscious still held and responded to this belief
- Awakened one night by what sounded like a domestic disturbance next door, a pregnant woman became frightened that her abusive next door neighbor might harm her in some way. Years later, no longer pregnant or alone, the woman would still lie awake at night, her subconscious keeping her from being vulnerable
- In her teens, a client's father gave her no-doze so she could stay awake to study for grade 12 exams. Years later, with a belief that sleep is low priority, she continues to stay awake
- A shift worker gets used to unusual sleep patterns and maintains them long after retiring from shift work
Is there something keeping YOU awake? Victoria Hypnotherapist Linda Campbell can help you answer this question and get a great sleep every night!
