Hypno-Blog - December 8th, 2008
Well, no more hypnotism sessions are planned for now, because I'm still smoke-free! Not even a drag since November 20th. And this past weekend was the ultimate test. After the Nine Inch Nails show, my buddy and I went out and got pretty smashed. It was the first time I've drank any booze since I quit smoking, and I DIDN'T SMOKE!!! Wow. I can hardly beleive it myself. I can't thank Linda Campbell enough or recommend her enough to anyone looking to give up the devil weed.

Hypno-Blog - November 25, 2008 - 4th Hypnotism Session
Well, folks, what can I say? Shortly after our last session last Thursday morning, I had the last cigarette in my pack (around 11:30am). I never got around to buying another pack of smokes. I haven't had a puff or drag or anything since then. Linda came in this morning, and I had to give her a hug. It is truly remarkable how easy it's been the last five days. 20 years of smoking...done. Linda hypnotised me again on the air, to reinforce my reasons for quitting, and to make sure they stay permanent. We'll check in with her again in a week or so. I can't thank her enough. And a big thanks to Dylan for getting me the hypnotherapy for my birthday.
Hypno-Blog - November 20, 2008 - 3rd Hypnotism Session
This morning, I had my second on-air hypnotherapy session with Linda Campbell. It was our third session overall. I've definitely seen a progress, as I am down to just a couple cigarettes a day now. And I've eliminated the first one in the morning. I felt that this morning, I went down a little 'deeper' into hypnosis before. Linda worked on some positive reinforcement, sort of like a 'pep talk' for my quitting smoking. She also focussed on my motivations for quitting, There are many, but the main one is my little boy. I want to be around to watch him grow up, and I don't want him to pick up the habit on account of me. I'm thinking about starting the nicotine patch, just to attack this thing from two fronts. Looking forward to seeing Linda here again on Monday.

Hypno-Blog - November 17, 2008 - 2nd Hypnotism Session
This morning, Linda came into the station and hypnotized me live on the air. It was weird; I felt like I went into a deeper state of hypnosis even though there were a lot more distractions (Dylan, music, Dylan, etc).
It's very hard to describe the feeling to someone who has never been hypnotized. I was completely aware of everything around me, but happy to stay in a state of semi-consciousness.
I haven't completely quit smoking yet, but I am totally confident that I will with this process. Linda returns Thursday, so we'll see how session #3 goes. Until then,

Hypno-blog - November 14, 2008 - Day 2 after my hypnosis
It was a pretty cool experience getting hypnotized on Wednesday. I believe it is working. I've had a couple cigarettes since, but they've tasted awful. Linda was really great, made me so relaxed. It wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be. I also had the best sleep of my life the night after my hypnosis, something she said would happen. I can't wait to get hypnotized again on the air on Monday. I am totally confident that I'll be able to quit the smokes for good soon. If anyone is interested in what Linda Campbell does, you can check out her website.
